Luís García is a visual artist based in NYC. Though his interest in photography began digitally, Luís currently practices working with film. He captures images that place him squarely in the scene, yet paradoxically on the outside looking in. His images compel you to not turn away, but stay and be present. On the streets, in subways, inside apartments and in stores, he reveals the relationships we have and sometimes solitary lives we live.
